Private Tutors Special Offer

Business and professional tutoring

As well as offering private tuition for students our tutors are able to support businesses with professional tutoring in any subject/area. Our on-site highly tailored tutoring enables you and your employees to learn while working; saving time and money in the process.

Experience the value of tuition provided at your premises tailored to the needs of individual participants, focusing only on the skills they need to perform their job roles.

Offering employees access to training resources which allow for continual professional development is a vital concern for any progressive business. With this requirement in mind, Fleet Tutors has developed a comprehensive tuition programme aimed at companies and organisations looking to improve the knowledge and abilities of their staff. Utilising our extensive bank of well-qualified and experienced business tutors, we are able to deliver a range of managed tuition packages, specifically tailored to the client's needs. Our corporate tuition packages cover the following four key learning areas, and are available on both a one-to-one and group basis:

  • Foreign language tuition for those employees looking to learn a new language from scratch or brush up on existing knowledge, whether for business or leisure.

  • PC and IT training for office workers and executives whose IT skills are holding them back. This training is provided at the employee's desk working on completing real projects for the employer, not standardised worksheets.

  • Literacy and/or numeracy training for employees wanting to improve their key skills in these areas.

  • English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) tuition for employees needing to improve their English language skills.

What experience do our business tutors have?

As is the case with our private and government clients, all our tutors are enthusiastic and flexible subject specialists. Our foreign language tutors are all native speakers of the language they are teaching, and all ESOL tutors supplied have a recognised qualification. Once we have gained an understanding of a client's requirements, through a face-to-face meeting or telephone conversation, our account coordinators will work in collaboration with the selected tutor(s) to devise a suitable programme of tuition, including course materials such as textbooks and audio-visual materials. Tuition sessions can take place at a location and time of the client's choosing, whether that is during work hours in the office, or in the evening or weekend in the employee's home.

Fleet Tutors has experience of working with a wide range of companies and organisations across the UK from FTSE 100 to small businesses. We offer bespoke course development for small groups as well as individual learners. We also offer a range of progress and assessment tools, which allow the tutor to provide detailed feedback to the client on the progress and attainment of the individual learner.

Our foreign language tutors are all native speakers of the language they are teaching, or hold high class degrees in that language and all ESOL...

What procedures are in place to ensure your business tutors are suitable for this type of work?

All of our private tutors hold Enhanced Criminal Record Bureau Disclosures (CRBs), or Enhanced Disclosure Scotland's which we check very closely. The CRB are an executive agency of the Home Office which vets applications for people who want to work with children and vulnerable people. We interview and obtain 2 references for every private tutor; one work reference and one character reference. Many of the work referees have worked with the tutor in a teaching environment so they can provide us with a valuable insight in to the way the tutor works with children/students. The character referee can also help us determine whether a tutor is suitable to work with children due to their characteristics.

All of our tutors are screened very closely by our Tutor Support team. For further information, please telephone our Business and Government Division 0208 994 1263 or email tutors4business@fleet-tutors.co.uk to discover how our private tuition can help you get the best from your staff!
