One-to-one tuition differs from a group course in that the tutor will tailor the content and pace of the course to the student’s individual needs rather than the conflicting requirements of a group. Due to the fact that the ratio is one-to-one, more can be accomplished in less time leaving the student with more free time in which to pursue other activities. Furthermore, personal resit tutoring is less expensive than most tutorial college group courses.

Following the selected exam board syllabus, Fleet Tutors start by identifying areas of weakness then develop a customised programme of tuition and work with the student to set targets for achievement. The tutors can provide multiple opportunities to take mock exams and review past papers in order to improve exam taking technique and strategy. In the tutor, the student also has the invaluable resource of a subject expert and his or her undivided attention. Rather than waiting to be called upon in a classroom session, the student can have questions answered immediately. As a result, pace and progress can be fast and focused, while areas of difficulty can be revisited until the student has mastered them. The tutor will also help motivate and support a student who feels de-motivated and let down after disappointing results.

Resit courses are available to start at any time at a time that suits the student so can fit easily around work or other activities.  Three standard courses exist although there are many variations that can be customized to your unique needs and requirements.  For all courses booked prior to 31 August, Fleet Tutors is offering up to 14% off of our 2010/2011 hourly rates.
