National Tutoring Programme (NTP Partner)

Who are we?

Supporting disadvantaged pupils is the heart of Fleet Tutors’, with over 40 years’ tuition experience our number one aim is to close the attainment gap by helping students reach their potential regardless of background, ability or age.

We are proud to work with over a third of local authorities and hundreds of schools across the country providing tailored, one-to-one and small group tuition to approximately 6,000 students annually. Our experience in supporting children with a variety of needs, including those with SEN, SEMH and EHCP’s, and those outside of mainstream education, is extensive. Sessions are face-to-face, either in-person or online.

How will we communicate with you?

Our School Liaison Officer is available to help with your initial enquiry. A dedicated Tuition Coordinator will then work with you to understand overall objectives and student’s needs. Assigned Tutors and School Staff can liaise directly, and our bespoke student reporting system (STEPS) communicates pupil attendance, session feedback and more.

How will we keep track of pupil progress?

Outcome-focused, our bespoke student reporting system STEPs records the initial assessment grade into an Individual Learning Plan where individual targets are also set. This then tracks the points of progress made from tutoring sessions against initial assessment – this information is shared with schools at set touch points.
