Chip has worked as an educational consultant for schools keen to raise their children’s confidence, well-being, and attainment. He wrote the EU’s guidance on using storytelling in the classroom to reach these ends, with the EU’s research team finding students achieved an average grade improvement of 25% through these methods. He is especially adept at tutoring resistant learners. He is the author of two books for children published by The History Press.
Tutoring received through NTP Tuition Partners will be subsidised by 75%. This means that a school can purchase tutoring for four pupils for the normal cost of purchasing tutoring for a single child, e.g. for a block of fifteen tutoring sessions that would cost £200, the cost to schools would be £50.
Schools are free to use to use additional catch-up funding, announced by the Department for Education in 2020, to pay for the remaining costs.
In order to begin the process, schools simply need to contact our school liaison team by registering your interest at the bottom of this page or email email@example.com to discuss specific requirements such as location of school (and tuition, if different), year group, no of students, group sizes, when tuition is to commence etc.
Tutoring will be most effective when it is closely aligned with the curriculum and guided by the classroom teacher.
Our School Liaison Team is available to help with your initial enquiry. A dedicated Tuition Coordinator will then work with you to understand overall objectives and student’s needs. Assigned Tutors and School Staff can liaise directly, and our bespoke student reporting system (STEPS) communicates pupil attendance, session feedback and more.
Outcome-focused, our bespoke student reporting system STEPs records the initial assessment grade into an Individual Learning Plan where individual targets are also set. This then tracks the points of progress made from tutoring sessions against initial assessment – this information is shared with schools at set touch points.
