These factors are often most acutely felt by children and there are many instances when the timing of the big move can fall particularly unhelpfully, during exam years or key elements of the curriculum.

Long distance relocations

The curriculum that a school has to follow is set by its corresponding local authority, as such, long-distance relocations are often quite problematic, they can involve potential unnecessary duplication of subject topics and result in entire sections being missed completely.
